What could your property sell for?
A local Kindred agent will give you a professional market appraisal. In person, by video or digitally. Always free.
How it works
No need to tidy up first. We don't need your home market-ready.
Book a time
Tell us the address and how you'd like your appraisal. We'll call to lock in a time.
We take a look
Your agent walks through the property, asks a few questions and answers yours.
Get your report
We combine what we saw with recent local sales and send you a clear, evidence-based price.
Three ways to get appraised
In person
An agent visits your home. Best if you also want advice on preparing to sell.
Video call
Walk us through your home on a video call. Still detailed, without the visit.
Digital
Based on property history, sales data and local conditions. No walkthrough needed.
We know this market
Your appraisal is built on what's actually selling around you.

How much does a sales appraisal cost?+
Nothing. Our appraisals are always free.
What's the difference between an appraisal and a valuation?+
An appraisal is an agent's professional opinion of what your property would sell for today. A valuation is a formal figure from a registered valuer, usually needed by a bank for lending. Valuations can cost up to $1,000 for residential property.
What happens during an in-home appraisal?+
An agent meets you at the property and looks over your home and land. They'll ask a few questions, like the age of your kitchen appliances, and answer any of yours. Your home doesn't need to be market-ready. Afterwards we combine what we saw with recent sales and market data to put together your report.
Do I need to be there?+
For in-person and video appraisals, yes, since we'll ask questions only you can answer. For digital appraisals, no. We don't need access to your home.
What affects my appraisal?+
Size, age, condition, location, nearby amenities, parking, features and finishes, recent comparable sales, market conditions, demand for your property type, and things like flood zones and zoning limits.
Who does the appraisal?+
One of our experienced local agents, backed by our property leaders and Customer Care team.
How often should I get one?+
Whenever you're making a big decision about your home, like selling, buying, refinancing or renovating. Markets move, so it helps to know what your home is worth today, not a year ago.
Which type of appraisal is best?+
In person gives the most accurate figure and a chance to talk about preparing your home for sale. Video is a convenient middle ground. Digital uses property history, sales data and local conditions, and is an easy place to start.
