Kindred think pink – all for a crucial cause.
For the month of October, Kindred are out with their usual green and all about the pink for a crucial cause – breast cancer research.
Supporting the National Breast Cancer Foundation (Australia’s leading national body), Kindred will be helping to fund game-changing breast cancer research.
This foundation uses money raised entirely by the Australian public to improve how breast cancer is diagnosed, managed and treated and have a big goal: zero deaths by breast cancer by 2030.
Josh Kindred, CEO of Kindred Group, shares that Kindred plan to make a real difference to Australians affected by breast cancer both through raising awareness and fundraising.
“We are encouraging our staff and our clients to ‘think pink’ and help save thousands of lives each year.”
“Breast cancer is something that affects so many lives and was a very important cause to our organisation and our people.”
Kindred will be holding a Pink Ribbon Morning Tea at 10am on the 17thof October 2018 at their head office, 35 Redcliffe Parade, Redcliffe. The community is invited and are asked to bring a big appetite and a donation – with all proceeds going to the National Breast Cancer Foundation.
Kindred will also be raising awareness throughout the month of October, going pink for the cause in all their branding and asking staff to wear pink on Wednesdays to spread the vital word.
“We hope the community and other businesses get behind this crucial cause,” shares Josh. “It could make all the difference to the lives of many of our community members and people right across Australia.”
